(Accounting Information Management System) AIMS Portal introduced by Indian Railways for providing services to its employees
India’s Digital India mission has transformed the country’s traditional ways of practicing their jobs. The whole system has been shifted on the computers and since then, work has been made a lot simpler and provides quick output, unlike the analog or traditional system of working.
In addition to the whole process of digitization, another achievement the government has bagged is successfully implementing the system on the ground and working on it. Indian Railways has introduced Accounting Information Management System (AIMS) portal for making all the employee-related information on a single portal, hence making the entire procedure less complicated. The employees of Indian Railways are now able to access all the information and services like pay and salary slips, salaries, health insurance, pensions, etc. The entire experience of using this portal is very simple and user friendly. These services can be availed by the employees on the website aims.indianrailways.gov.in
The process of digitization has made it easier for the employees to store their important documents, access information about their salaries, download payslips etc. via internet. HOW TO REGISTER YOURSELF AT AIMS PORTAL:
For New User registration, follow the below-mentioned steps:
Visit aims.indianrailways.gov.in and click on the second option, displayed on the leftmost part of the screen ‘Employee Self Service’. This will redirect you to a new page.
Click on ‘New User Registration’. A new page will open in front of you.
Enter your ‘Employee number’, mobile number, date of birth and click on Submit button.
Once done, the system will verify employee and mobile number, and date of birth from employee’s bio data. Once verified, the system will send initial password on the registered mobile.
Enter the password sent to you via SMS and click on ‘Register and Login’ button.
When the entered password matches with the one that was sent on your number, you’re registered with RESS and its home page will be displayed.
For already existing users, follow the below-mentioned steps:
In order to get you registered at this portal, open the official website of Indian Railways Accounts & Finance Portal. Or simply, click here aims.indianrailways.gov.in
Click on the second option, displayed on the leftmost part of the screen ‘Employee Self Service’. This will redirect you to a new page.
Fill in your credentials on that page like e-mail ID and Password. A verification link would be send to your email ID to verify it. Click on it and verify your account.
Click on Public Grievance and click on ‘View Status Link’
Fill in the details like registration number, email ID/mobile number, and the captcha code.
Click on the Submit button and the status will be display.
RESS MOBILE APPLICATION:
RESS mobile application is provided by Indian Railways for their employees. The application is available on the Play Store for android users. It provides s all the above-mentioned services to its employees. Download it and login with your details.
