The Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) is a popular exam conducted twice a year in the state of Kerala. The official authority responsible for organizing the test is the Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan. The purpose of this exam is to assess the eligibility of candidates aspiring to become teachers in government and aided schools in the state. The upcoming Kerala TET exam will be held on May 30 and May 31, 2023. Previously, the exam was conducted in April of this year.
The application registration for the KTET March Exam was open from April 3 to April 17, 2023. Now that the application process is complete, the exam will be conducted in four categories in May 2023 by the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Kerala. The schedule for the KTET March Exam is as follows:
- Exam Date: May 30 and May 31, 2023
The KTET Hall Tickets will be released on the official website at least one week before the examination date. Eligible candidates can download their hall tickets by logging in using their application number and date of birth. A direct download link will be provided in the section below.
Kerala TET Paper Pattern & Exam Scheme: The KTET exam consists of multiple-choice questions covering various subjects/topics. There will be a total of 150 questions in the exam, with each question carrying one mark. There is no negative marking in this exam.
For KTET I, II & IV (except languages), the papers will be available in both Malayalam and English. However, KTET III will be conducted in English (except for the languages section).

Candidates must carry a printed copy of the Kerala TET Hall Ticket and a valid photo identity proof when appearing for the exam. Valid photo identity proofs may include Aadhar Card, driving license, voter’s ID card, college/institute ID card, etc.
