LBS Kerala SET Hall Ticket 2023: Date, Exam Scheme at lbscentre.kerala.gov.in

The LBS Centre of Science & Technology has successfully completed the online application registration for the Kerala State Eligibility Test. The eligibility test is scheduled to be conducted on July 27, 2023.

Candidates appearing for the Kerala State Eligibility Test can download their hall tickets from the official website of LBS. To access the hall tickets, candidates need to log in using their application registration number and date of birth. The link to download the Kerala SET Hall Tickets will be activated at least two weeks before the examination date.

The State Eligibility Test is conducted to ensure the standards of teaching in Higher Secondary Courses. It is mandatory for candidates aspiring to be appointed as Higher Secondary School Teachers and Non-Vocational Teachers in VHSE to pass the State Eligibility Test (SET) as per the Special Rules in force.

The notification for the Kerala State Eligibility Test 2023 was released on March 28, 2023. The registration process commenced on March 30 and concluded on April 25, 2023. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be called for the entrance test, and the schedule for the test will be announced on the website soon.

The Kerala SET examination consists of two papers. Both papers are objective in nature, and candidates need to select the most appropriate response from the given options (A, B, C, D) on the OMR Answer Sheets. Each correct response carries 1 mark, except for Mathematics and Statistics, where each correct response is awarded 1.5 marks. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

Paper I is common for all candidates and consists of two parts: Part (A) General Knowledge and Part (B) Aptitude in Teaching. Paper I has a total of 120 questions, with 60 questions in each part, and each question carries one mark.

Paper II is based on the candidate’s specialization at the Post Graduate (PG) Level. It consists of 120 questions, with one mark allocated to each question, except for Mathematics and Statistics, which have 80 questions carrying 1.5 marks each.

The admit cards for the Kerala SET will be available only to candidates who have successfully registered for the test. The admit card will contain details such as the candidate’s name, photograph, category, exam name, examination center details, exam timings and date, and important instructions. Candidates should ensure that all the details on the admit card are correct. In case of any errors, candidates should contact the examination authority for rectification before the completion of the written test.

To download the Kerala SET Admit Card 2023, candidates need to follow these steps:

  2. Click on the link for Kerala SET Admit Card.
  3. Log in using the application registration number and date of birth.
  4. Verify the filled details and click on the Admit Card link.
  5. Check the admit card displayed on the screen.
  6. Finally, download and print the admit card for future reference.
