The Odisha Teachers Eligibility Test (OTET) Admit Card for the year 2023 will soon be released by the Board of School of Education, Odisha. Candidates can download their respective admit cards from the official website of the board at bseodisha.ac.in.
The application registration process for the Teacher Eligibility Test 2022 was completed by the Board on October 19. Although the application submission is now closed, the schedule for various selection process events will be announced soon. The OTET Admit Cards for Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be issued to eligible candidates at least one week before the exam date.
This year, more than 1 lakh candidates have applied for the OTET (2nd). The exam will be conducted at over 150 venues across districts in Odisha. Both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be held on the same day but in different shifts. The exam timings for OTET Paper 1 and Paper 2 are as follows:
OTET Paper 1 & Paper 2 Exam Scheme The OTET 2022 consists of two papers: Paper 1 for the Primary Level and Paper 2 for the Upper Primary Level. Candidates will appear for the examination according to their respective levels. It is important for aspirants to be familiar with the exam scheme and paper pattern for the Odisha Teachers Eligibility Test.
OTET Paper 1:
- The exam will be conducted offline (Pen-Paper mode).
- It will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions.
- There will be a total of 150 questions, each carrying 1 mark.
- There is no negative marking in the exam.
- Candidates will be given 2.5 hours to complete the test.
OTET Paper 2:
- The exam will be conducted offline.
- It will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions (OTET 2nd).
- There will be a total of 210 questions.
- Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark.
- There is no negative marking in the exam.
- Candidates will be given 2.5 hours to complete the test.

Candidates will need to enter their application number and date of birth to access the admit cards. Relevant information will be provided on the official portal in due course.
During the exam, candidates must bring a valid identity card with a photo along with the OTET E-Admit Card printed on an A4 page. Acceptable identity cards include Aadhar Card, Driving License, Voter’s ID Card, and others.
